Newborn Photographer Plano *
Meet baby Aldo! He was only 8 days at his newborn photo session! When I was talking to his mama, planning baby Aldo’s newborn sets she said she would like to see brown, blue and cream colors. I went ahead and built sets based on their preferred colors! I love how beautifully these colors complimented Aldo’s skin tone!
As a newborn photographer serving Plano area I knew it is important to make sure colors work with baby’s skin tone and don’t “wash” them out. Color choices are very important, we all know that. Sometimes people select a color, like pink and the baby has lots of reds/pinks in their skin they can blend in with the background, same goes for yellow, if a baby has jaundice you might want to avoid yellow tones. If I see that happening, I will always tell parents to maybe switch to another color choice.
Baby Aldo was 6lbs. It is also very important to make sure the baby is not too little for the newborn session. This will cause all newborn outfits to fit huge on the baby! Perfect newborn size for photos is around 6-9LBS. Its the sweet spot before hitting premie or 0-3 newborn size. Newborn photographers have outfits that fit babies 6-9 Lbs and also props are best tailored for this size. I have had babies in size 10 lbs and 5 lbs as well, and we absolutely have outfits/props to fit this size as well.
