Dallas Newborn Pictures * Vienna came to visit me for her newborn photos!! I photographed Vienna’s sister as a newborn and she did absolutely wonderful at her newborn photos too. Ha, I need a newborn prep guide from this sweet family to give to all my newborn clients! Viennas family selected red, cream, rust and green color for her photos! I think she looked incredible in all those colors!

Lots of newborn babies are not as sleepy as baby Vienna was. Sometimes babies could be gassy or have colic. Colic is not fun at all for those sweet babes!

Colic in newborns is a common condition that affects up to 25% of infants. It is characterized by excessive crying and fussiness, usually occurring in the late afternoon or evening, and lasting for at least three hours a day, three days a week, for three weeks or more. The cause of colic is not fully understood, but it is thought to be related to the baby’s immature digestive system and/or nervous system.

There is no cure for colic, but there are some things you can do to help your baby feel better:

Try to identify what triggers your baby’s crying and avoid those things if possible;

Hold your baby close and rock or bounce them;

Use a pacifier;

Give your baby a warm bath;

Apply a warm compress to your baby’s stomach;

Take your baby for a walk in a stroller or car;

Talk to your doctor if you are concerned about your baby’s crying;

It is important to remember that colic is a normal part of many babies’ development. It is not your fault and there is nothing you have done to cause it. With time, your baby will grow out of colic and you will all be able to enjoy your new life together.

Newborns grow so quickly, its seems like this time drags because you don’t get to sleep much.. But then you look back in disbelief and your baby is already ONE!!!!
