Lewisville, TX Newborn photographer * Heeeeeyy!!! I had the privilege of capturing Ezekiel’s studio newborn session at just 12 days of age. It’s always a joy to work with newborns, but there’s something extra special about photographing baby boys. Boy mama over here 😉

Ezekiel’s session started with a pre-session consultation. His parents and I discussed what colors and props they would like to see at their newborn photos. They wanted simple, classic portraits that included colors of beige, green, brown, and blue. I LOVE THE COLORS THEY CHOSE!!

On the day of the session, Ezekiel arrived with his parents and grandma. They were so happy to show off their little one. He was not very happy to be touched while sleeping, so we had to give him extra snuggles because who doesn’t love that!! 😉

We started the session with some solo portraits of Ezekiel, capturing his tiny details like his delicate fingers and toes. I used a neutral color palette to keep the focus on the baby and his features. After the table poses were done, I posed Ezekiel in some adorable props that Mom loved.

Ezekiel’s parents joined him for some family portraits after. They snuggled close together, and I captured the sweet moments of bonding between the new family of three.

We took breaks for feeding and soothing during the session, as needed, ensuring that Ezekiel was comfortable and happy. I used safe posing techniques and had a spotter on hand at all times.

After the session, Ezekiel’s parents were thrilled with the results. They now have beautiful portraits of their little boy that they will cherish for a lifetime. What an incredible gift for future generations.

This little guy totally made my day, I mean, just look at that sweet face, but let don’t fool him, you!!! He didn’t want to sleep much!!
